A taxa de visto é paga apenas na moeda local (Kwanza – AOA) e está ligada à taxa de câmbio Euro-Kwanza, atualizada no final de cada trimestre.

O pagamento das taxas consulares pode ser feito em dinheiro ou com o cartão angolano (TPA).

Os vistos nacionais (Tipo “D”), para estadias superiores a 90 dias consecutivos, têm um custo de 116 euros, excluindo os vistos de estudo que têm um custo de 50 euros.

Para os vistos Schengen (Tipo “C”), para estadias inferiores a 90 dias consecutivos, a taxa é de 90 euros.

Aplicam-se as seguintes exceções:

1. Crianças entre os 6 e os 12 anos de idade: 45 euros
2. Cidadãos de países com os quais a União Europeia assinou acordos de facilitação de vistos: 35 euros. Para obter uma lista dos países elegíveis, consulte o site da Comissão Europeia.
3. Gratuito para os requerentes pertencentes a uma das seguintes categorias:
   1. Crianças com menos de seis anos de idade;
   2. Estudantes, estudantes de pós-graduação e professores acompanhantes que realizem estadias para fins de estudo ou formação pedagógica;
   3. Investigadores de países terceiros que viajam para fins de investigação científica, nos termos da Recomendação 2005/761/CE do Parlamento Europeu e do Conselho, de 28 de Setembro de 2005, que visa facilitar a emissão, pelos Estados-Membros, de vistos uniformes de curta duração para investigadores de países terceiros que viajam dentro da Comunidade para fins de investigação científica;
   4. Representantes de organizações sem fins lucrativos com idade igual ou inferior aos vinte e cinco anos que participem em seminários, conferências, eventos desportivos, culturais ou educativos organizados por organizações sem fins lucrativos;
   5. Titulares de passaportes diplomáticos em caso de acreditação e reciprocidade de tratamento;
   6. Os seguintes familiares de cidadãos da UE/EEE, quando acompanham ou se juntam ao cidadão da UE/EEE, tal como identificados pela Diretiva 2004/38/CE e pelo Decreto Legislativo 30/2007:
      • o cônjuge;
      • o parceiro que tenha celebrado uma união de facto registada com o cidadão da UE ao abrigo da legislação de um Estado-Membro, caso a legislação do Estado-Membro de acolhimento equiparar as uniões de facto registadas ao casamento e em conformidade com as condições estabelecidas na legislação aplicável do Estado-Membro de acolhimento;
      • descendentes diretos com menos de 21 anos ou dependentes, e os do cônjuge ou companheiro;
      • ascendentes diretos dependentes (pais, avós) e os do cônjuge ou companheiro (sogros).

The visa fee is charged only in the local currency (Kwanza – AOA) and is linked to a Euro-Kwanza exchange rate that is updated at the end of each quarter.

Payment of consular fees can be made in cash or with an Angolan card (TPA).

National visas (Type “D”), for stays exceeding 90 consecutive days, cost 116 euros, excluding case studies, which cost 50 euros.

For Schengen visas (Type “C”), for stays of less than 90 consecutive days, the fee is 90 euros.

The following exceptions apply:

1. Children between 6 and 12 years of age: 45 euros
2. Citizens of countries with which the European Union has signed visa facilitation agreements: 35 euros. For a list of eligible countries, please consult the European Commission website.
3. Free for applicants belonging to one of the following categories:
   1. Children under the age of six;
   2. Students, postgraduate students, and accompanying teachers undertaking stays for the purpose of study or pedagogical training;
   3. Researchers from third countries travelling for the purpose of scientific research pursuant to Recommendation 2005/761/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issuance by Member States of uniform short-stay visas to researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of scientific research;
   4. Representatives of non-profit organizations aged twenty-five or below participating in seminars, conferences, sporting, cultural, or educational events organized by non-profit organizations.
   5. Holders of diplomatic passports in the case of accreditation and reciprocity of treatment.
   6. The following family members of EU/EEA citizens, when accompanying or joining the EU/EEA citizen, as identified by Directive 2004/38/EC and Legislative Decree 30/2007:
      • the spouse;
      • the partner who has entered into a registered partnership with the EU citizen under the legislation of a Member State, if the legislation of the host Member State equates registered partnership to marriage and in compliance with the conditions set out in the relevant legislation of the host Member State;
      • direct descendants under the age of 21 or dependent, and those of the spouse or partner;
      • dependent direct ascendants (parents, grandparents) and those of the spouse or partner (parents-in-law).
